Student Leadership Council
The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a club under the Foundation of Walton High School. We plan and host events that create lifelong memories for Walton’s students while fundraising for our school and community charities. SLC hosts the Homecoming Dance, Powder Puff, WEB Concessions, a Spring Service Project and other fundraisers for our school and community. We try to keep the membership to 50 – 60 students so that each student can have meaningful leadership experiences. We focus on leadership traits, as well marketing and fundraising skills.

Most WEB Wednesday’s SLC sells pizza & snacks during Q block to help fund Shop with a Raider and our Spring Service Project.

9/11 Memorial Flags
Each year SLC remembers the victims who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks by placing 2,997 flags around the Walton campus.

Boo Your Teachers
Boo Bags are sold in October each year as our teacher appreciation fundraiser.

Shop with a Raider
Each December SLC hosts Shop with a Raider to help underprivileged children shop for presents for their families. We play games, do crafts and make memories to last all year!

SLC coordinates sales of lucky lollipop for your friends during St. Patrick’s Day week.

Foundation Bows
Every fall, SLC students donate their time to make and deliver the Walton Foundation Bows to mailboxes for donations of $250 or more.
